  • Engineering Graphics 1 (30130)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

    The course provides students with a basic knowledge of engineering graphics, including the theoretical side - the descriptive geometry - as well as basic skills for the use of engineering graphics packages, and execution of computer - aided technical drawing,

    including the presentation of three dimensional parts according

    to the Israeli standards. Hands on practice with advanced

    CAD tools will be provided. The student will get the required fundamentals for advanced courses in mechanical engineering design and will be familiar with the required terminology for developing engineering projects.
  • Fluid Mechanics (50302)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

    Introduction to fluids, hydrostatics, introduction to fluid in motion;

    integral relations for a control volume, change of mass, energy and momentum in control volume,

    the differential equations of the flow, viscous flow in pipes,

    boundary layers and external flow for steady incompressible laminar and turbulent flow.
  • Medical Mechanics Laboratory (50306)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

    Each of the lab station focuses on one of the below lab subjects: strength of mechanical and biological material, biomechanical properties, flow variables in different physiological geometrics, and cardiovascular hemodynamics. The course includes an accumulation of skills in different measurement methods, calibration, error calculations signal, and image processing. Signal sampling and processing signals are based on the use of Matlab, FLIR Pro, and LabView software.
