  • Introduction To Communication Systems (20115)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

    The course consists three parts:

The first part focuses physical and mathematical principles

of wired and wireless electronic communication, including definition of information, high-frequency electronic signals, bandwidth and noise, Fourier transforms in the time domain and frequency domain, sampling and information theory.

The second part focuses analog modulation

techniques - linear modulations and exponential modulations

and examination of system performance in the presence of contaminating noise.

The third part focuses wireless communication channel properties -

transmission cascade and receiver cascade and the role of antennas.

Multiplexing systems and television systems will be studied by self-study.
