Abstract:
The course deals with mathematical models that allow
quantitative approach to the concept of information.
These include quantitative metrics of information content,

Start your journey in the wonderful sport and lifestyle of sailing. The objective of this course is to prepare you for an exciting sailing adventure as crew of a sailboat.
You will first learn the basics of sailboat design and func tions, fundamentals of navigation, instrumentation, safety procedures, meteorology, and seamanship. The practical tutorials will be held in a sailboat, where you and your course mates work as a team to
help your skipper operate the sailboat safely and efficiently.
Notes: the practical sailings will be scheduled for groups of 4-5 students, premitting changes of weather.
