    The course imparts theoretical and applied knowledge in basic issues in human resource management in the organization in the context of broad management processes. The course emphasizes the applied aspect of the human resources management system in the organization and the relationship between it and the employee and the manager and provides knowledge of research methods in the field. Learning takes place in lectures, analysis of articles, class exercises, event analysis, videos and presentations - with the active participation of the students.

    Abstract:

    The course provides theoretical and practical knowledge of advanced challenges in human resource management in service/infrastructure organizations. This course covers the following topics: introduction, human resource management and its sources, service/ infrastructure organizational environment and its effects, service/infrastructure jobs analysis and design, recruitment of employees to the service/ infrastructure industry, selections and placement of employees in the service/ infrastructure industry, training, development and retention of employees in the service/ infrastructure industry.

    This course emphasizes theoretical and practical aspects of the human resources management in service/infrastructure organizations, as well as the relationship between HR, the employees and the management. Course material is taught using lectures, text reading, classroom exercises, case studies, videos and presentations - all include active participation of students.
