  • Bi – Business Intelligence (40205)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

A major challenge in the organization is: turning the large amount of data accumulated in the diverse computer systems and the organizational data warehouse into valuable integrative business insights and knowledge for decision makers in the organization with the aim of leveraging the organization's returns and achieving a strategic advantage in the business competition over the competitors

Questions such as: what are the parameters that explain customer abandonment, which customers are most suitable for the new sales promotion of a certain product, which products are bought with a high probability with other product(s), are discussed, analyzed and receive an informed answer.

Visual analytical research in a multidimensional environment as well as data mining procedures and BIG DATA are at the pinnacle of analytical technologies in the organization (BI), and are the hottest topics today in this field.

The course will teach architectures for designing an effective data warehouse as well as architectures of BI products. The course will also teach methodologies for identifying the business motivation with the help of intelligent analysis of the data and finding connections between them, as well as algorithms and analytical models from the field of statistics and artificial and business intelligence.

The course will deal with the theoretical/academic part of the relevant topics as well as the practical side while learning and practicing leading computer tools such as:

    - SAS VIYA VA - Analytical research - dedicated tool

    - Visual Analytics Self-Service IBM Planning Analytics (OLAP) - multidimensional research in a multidimensional environment,

    - IBM Watson Modeler / Orange - Data Mining - data mining

    - SAS MINER VDMML - BIG DATA - Text Mining

To develop and implement applications in the relevant fields.
  • Cybersecurity Fundamentals (40262)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

The British weekly "Economist" defined the cybernetic arena (in the context of cyber warfare) as "the fifth arena of combat in addition to the four traditional arenas: land, sea, air, space.

Cyber warfare is a hostile action taken by an organization in order to penetrate the cyber space of the target with the aim of stealing information from it as well as with the aim of disrupting the activity and causing damage to it and/or to other systems that rely on it.

The damage can be irreversible so that the activity of the affected organization will be disrupted at a high level or completely stopped for all the resulting consequences.

Cyber protection protects assets in the cyber space against information leakage from the space or against cyber attacks aimed at stealing information, disrupting it or damaging it.

The interesting question is how to properly manage the risks arising from cyber warfare. How to prevent damage, but more than that - what do you do practically, from an administrative and operational point of view, if you are actually in the middle of a real cyber attack. What are the ways and what are the actions that must be carried out in practice in order to minimize damages
  • Risk Management in Information Technologies (40263)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

Along with the striving of organizations to increase value by leveraging technological advantages, the inherent risk in the digital business and in the reliance of organizations on computerized systems is increasing. Stealing personal details and proprietary business information, blocking service and demanding ransom, improper utilization of resources, denial of service and theft in cyberspace - all of these are becoming commonplace and harm both large and small organizations. Decentralized and uncoordinated approaches to information security, and passive incident response are a thing of the past.

Today, the urgency of providing quality services with continuous availability and without failures to customers and business partners in the digital business space, requires organizations to develop capabilities accordingly with maximum survivability.

ISACA has built a new certification: CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) which is intended for professionals in the field of information technology, who deal with risk identification, assessment, response design, monitoring, and control design and maintenance, all in order to help the organization achieve its business goals in a proper manner and high quality.
