The quality of products and services has become a leading factor
in the competitiveness of the industrial and business market.
The perception of quality has gone through several revolutions in the twentieth century,
which mainly include the transition from the filtering and inspection of materials
and products to the statistical process control SPC and the Quality of Design.,
The quality that in the past was considered to be a technical topic that refers to product processes only, includes today the entirety of processes in the organization.
The quality efforts do not concentrate specifically on the product (or service) but rather on the entirety of processes, seeing that correct processes will lead to the manufacturing of intact, undamaged products, raise the fertility of the organization,
improve industrial relations and enlarge the response capability of the organization to the market demands, all using lower manufacturing costs.
