Abstract:
The students enhance their programming skills and learn how to put them to use in the physical world as well as the digital. In general the course covers PC architecture, communication protocols, software libraries and drivers, the digital-analog connection, the Arduino microcontroller, sensors, electronics, and several control algorithms all in the PBL approach.Abstract:
The computer is without a doubt an incredibly important tool in almost every field, and especially in engineering.
This course connects the students with the software world, while making it accessible, friendly and useful. It introduces, in depth, several software related concepts and transforms the students into super-users.
At the end of the course the students are able to create advanced software, that include rich user interfaces with graphs, tables and animations. The students can produce physical simulations with various visual representations while loading and saving data via files.
Students can create their own costume-made software tools.
With more advanced knowledge they receive later in the Mechatronics learning path, they can create Human-Machine interfaces for robotics, Control instruments and more.
