Abstract:
This course introduces students to diverse topics related to ethics and information systems. This is a relatively new field that examines moral, legal and social issues related to a wide range of computing and information technologies. We will learn the principles of classical ethics and engage In moral problems that directly affect computer people including broader social and ethical issues that affect each of us in our day to day lives. We will learn about the responsibility of experts in developing safe and reliable information systems as well as about privacy, computer crimes, intellectual property, internet regulation and more.
The learners will acquire the ability to identify ethical dilemmas and make optimal decisions according to ethical considerations. Through many examples from the field, the learners will get to know the importance and relevance of this subject for information systems people in the modern era.Abstract:

The course presents economic models and principles, and demonstrates their applicability in the context of information products and information systems. The course is designed to provide participants with insights and managerial tools for analyzing decision situations regarding methods of implementation and operation of information systems, as well as the sale or purchase of information products.Abstract:

In the current technological era, intra-organizational entrepreneurship and professional project management form the main growth lever of various organizations. Engineers and managers are required to initiate and promote new ideas while analyzing the internal and external customers' needs. Project managers and engineers require to develop entrepreneurial abilities, and soft management skills, in addition to mastering control and monitoring tools for various projects.
As part of the course, we will present advanced topics in project management: internal organizational innovation, leadership, change management, quality, stakeholder management, project communication, outsourcing, project contract management, development models, organizational politics, portfolio management, and more.
As part of the course, the students will submit a team final project that will reflect the advanced topics taught in the course.
