    Abstract:

The English Advanced 1 course develops students’ language and professional communication skills through practical, job-related tasks, supported by targeted language work relevant to these tasks. The course integrates reading, writing, listening, and speaking practice at the B1–B2 level (CEFR–ECOSTAR Framework), with a strong focus on employability and real-life language use. Students work individually and in groups to explore professions in the engineering industry, search for and evaluate information, and produce written and spoken outputs relevant to workplace contexts. Activities include writing professional descriptions, preparing and presenting at a simulated job fair, completing job applications, and participating in mock interviews. Through these tasks, students enhance their confidence, teamwork, and readiness for future academic and professional challenges.
