Abstract:
The course is designed to familiarize the student with the world of Recommender systems, their features and capabilities. The course will discuss the various stages for the development of a Recommender system and be applied by the students.Abstract:
Systems engineering principles, process, and methodology; the fundamental Systems Engineering life cycle (LC); and the role of the systems engineer in the initiation and production of a new product or service. In addition, we broaden our understanding of key science branches by discussing varies topics and elaborating them using library resources.Abstract:
This course introduces students to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), a modern approach that replaces traditional document-driven methods with integrated system models as the single source of truth. Emphasis is placed on the use of SysML (Systems Modeling Language) to capture requirements, behavior, structure, and constraints, and on the application of Cameo Systems Modeler as an industry-standard tool.
Through a balance of lectures, guided exercises, and hands-on labs, students will learn to model complex, multidisciplinary systems from stakeholder needs through design, analysis, and validation. The course culminates in a capstone project, where students collaboratively develop a complete MBSE model, gaining both theoretical understanding and practical skills relevant to engineering practice.
