  • Engineering Graphics 1 (30130)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

The course provides students with a basic knowledge of engineering graphics, including the theoretical side - the descriptive geometry - as well as basic skills for the use of engineering graphics packages, and execution of computer - aided technical drawing,

including the presentation of three dimensional parts according

to the Israeli standards. Hands on practice with advanced CAD tools will be provided. The student will get the

required fundamentals for advanced courses in mechanical engineering design and will be familiar with the required terminology for developing engineering projects.
  • Engineering Graphics 2 (30131)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

The course provides students with basic skills for the use of engineering graphics packages, and execution of computer-aided

technical drawing, including the presentation of three dimensional parts and assemblies according to the Israeli standards. Hands on practice with advanced CAD tools will be provided. The student will get the required fundamentals for advanced courses in mechanical engineering design and will be familiar with the required terminology for developing engineering projects.
  • Additive Manufacturing (30245)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

Through classroom learning and assessment activities, students in this module will learn the main AM processes and post-processing techniques, learn about inspection of AM parts and identify AM standards.

Upon course completion, students will be able to: explain current and emerging 3D printing applications in the manufacturing field, evaluate scenarios and recommend the appropriate use of 3D printing technology, identify opportunities to apply 3D printing technology for time and cost savings, produce a fully f?unctional part, and understand the advantages and limitations of each 3D printing technology.
  • Cad (30333)
  • תקציר הקורס:

    Abstract:

This course consists of two parts: CAD and mechanical design, where both parts of the course have a common task: design a mechanism in accordance with procedures up to a full production portfolio level.
