Abstract:
Principles of constructing computer communication networks and the various mechanisms activated in them. The course’s focus is on the Internet, its physical and logical structure and the principles of constructing network applications over it. The main line in the course is the 5 layer model. The course is organized by a top-down approach following Kurose and Ross for methodology for teaching computers communications.Abstract:
In this lab, the student will understand the limitations of practical digital systems
and lab equipment and measurement. He will explore the electrical static (voltage)
and dynamic (switching) characteristics of TTL and CMOS logic gates;
implement a Monostable Multivibrator using CMOS gates; implement an
Astable Multivibrator using CMOS gates, Op. Amp. and Schmidt Trigger;
Will designing a f?unction Generators using Op. Amp.;
Explore applications of Timer 555; use integrated circuit 2206 as a
f?unction Generator; explore A/D, D/A converters; design a digital PLL using XOR Gate, LPF and VCO circuit.Abstract:
The course deepens the tools, theoretical and practical (mainly practical), according to the material that was taught in "Control systems theory" course, in the fields of design and analysis of control systems.
In the first experiments the students find transmission functions
(reaction time and frequency response), analyze static and dynamic systems response.
Later, students will work with open and closed loops control:
speed control and angle control. Students will learn about different controllers, and their effects on the steady state error, damping coefficient, poles location, frequency response and more.
