We are already in a deep process of the fourth industrial revolution, Industry 4.0, which is relevant and touches almost every area of ??our lives. Unlike the previous industrial revolutions, this revolution also brings about a complex change of concept and paradigm and includes additional stages such as digital transformation, a holistic concept at the Eco System level and a high level of customer involvement. This paradigm involves system engineering which is a central part of a broader project management process. In this course we will combine the study of project management approaches and system engineering with the changing and new tools and processes that the fourth industrial revolution brings with it. We will also review the parallel change and adaptation processes and the new skills required of the system engineer.
Dismantling and assembling requirements (system ? subsystem ? assemblies ? components). Routing requirements to the various development groups. Definition of levels of requirements and control. Transitioning from a system and theoretical design phase into the physical design of: assemblies, interfaces, performance and integration (sub system assemblies) while understanding and considering the constraints of the various levels of development and integration. Detailed design up to the readiness stage for the PDR & CDR surveys.
