I am Prof. Itshak Lapidot, a lecturer and researcher at Afeka College, School of Electrical Engineering.

The B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. were done at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering,  Ben-Gurion Univ. Beer-Sheva, Israel.

My Post Doctorat was at IDIAP, Martigny, Swizerland.

Currrently I am an associated researcher at Avignon Univ. France, Laboratory of Informatics, LIA.

The topics of the courses I teach are Signal Processing, Random Processes and Estimation Theory.

Reasearch areas:

Speaker recognition technologies - speaket verification, speaker diarization, speaker clustering and anti-spoofing.

Machine learning for biomedical infrared spectroscopy - bacteria classification from urine, viral/becteria classification from blood sampels, identification bacteria resistance to antibiotic.
