Contrary to the past, when Information Technology was used mainly for efficiency and improving business processes, today,

technology enables organizations perform tasks in different ways,

thus causing radical changes in business processes, influencing on business effectiveness.

Information Technology enables business perform changes in decision making processes and in implementing business decisions incorporating business products/services and relations with competitors and customers.

In the course will students learn the relationships between business strategy and Information Technology Strategy.
